It's been a long time coming, but Illinois has now earned our NINTH credit rating upgrade.

Our state is back in the A's with all three agencies now — a complete turnaround from the past administration's fiscal failures.

And it means saving Illinoisans millions of dollars.

The thing about human rights is that you don't have to do anything to deserve them. You don't even have to be a 'good person' or a 'model citizen'. You don't have to look good or talk well. All you have to be is a human being.

I mean I couldn’t own property or vote in the 18th century but sure.

No matter your motivation, when you find yourself at odds with those who call for mercy and human decency it is time to carefully reconsider your position. Crimes, even heinous ones, do not justify crimes. No one ever enhanced their security by undermining their moral standing.
