Huge congratulations to the now Dr. Sarah Neely Sarah Neely Tissue Repair PhD who passed her PhD examination yesterday with flying colours and no corrections.
Many thanks to Ethan Hughes Ethan Hughes and Dirk Sieger for examining.
It has been a joy and a true privilege Sarah!
Did you ever wonder what all the oligodendrocyte precursors in the brain are up to when they don’t make myelin? They fine-tune circuits! Funded by European Research Council (ERC) & @DFG_public. Congratulations Yan & all involved. Great collaboration with @portugueslab.

Outstanding study from Tim Czopka Lab showing that oligodendrocyte progenitor cells actively participate in sculpting neural circuits, in an unexpected manner that has nothing to do with making oligodendrocytes or myelin!!!

Really happy to share that our paper on the role of axonal length in neuronal homeostasis has been now accepted and published in Advanced Healthcare Materials! Great news to get on a Friday... Check it out if you haven't already seen the preprint!
