Thrilled to share another chapter of my PhD work w/ Prof. Akiko Iwasaki where we repurposed neomycin to elicit immunological protection against respiratory viral infection and transmission!! (1/3)
AAI proudly celebrates President Akiko Iwasaki's inclusion in TIME's 2024 list of 100 most influential people. Her groundbreaking research on viral infections, including COVID-19, and advocacy for public health make her a true inspiration.

I know a very talented researcher who received the U.S. National Science Foundation GRFP in neuroscience (amazing!) but was not admitted to any PhD programs this cycle. Any #neuroscience PhD prgms able to consider a trainee with 3 yrs funding so they don't need to decline the award? (Can't defer it seems)
