Thank you to amazing The MASIC Foundation advocate Geeta Nayar for speaking about her experiences & campaigning work today. It was great to be in attendance & listen to the speeches, much needs to be done to tackle maternal health inequality. Thank you Fivexmore_ for your amazing work.
Geeta Nayar tells her own story of a difficult birth & perineal damage. Postnatal care poor & unsupportive, feelings of uselessness & shame. Geeta eventually got help from The MASIC Foundation & now works on behalf of other parents. She stresses the worse outcomes for Black & Asian women.
Please nominate MASIC for the Benefact Group Health & Wellbeing Special draw 🫶
Nomination window is open for just 5 days - you have until Friday 26th April to submit your nomination using the link below! Please share ♥️

Thank you Hannah Barnes for this exceptionally important piece on birth trauma. In no other part of the NHS are patients treated so abominably. PTSD, cruelty, life-changing birth injuries… horrific for the women involved.
