What I imagined as I proofread this article:

It was very heartbreaking to suspect the results won't be much different.

Surely it’s because IUD insertion is easier (no it isn’t), quicker (no it isn’t) & doesn’t require a fancy set up (neither does vasectomy)

Alleviating pain is Medicine 101. It should be the norm, not the exception. That a simple measure is seen as path breaking or revolutionary is an indictment of healthcare professionals to recognise and address women’s pain. We must do better. Full stop.
