Neuroscience Research Day starts today, a fantastic local event organized by trainees at Society of Neuroscience Graduate Students, celebrating the great wealth and breadth of neuroscience research happening at Western University. Many highlights this year, including tomorrow's keynote by Sheena Josselyn.

The real opinion is that the amyloid hypothesis has hyjacked & sidelined AD research for decades. We need a new hypothesis & start thinking clinically about AD, acknowledging that the presence of amyloid does not necessarily have any cognitive output

In January, our Deputy Chair Andy Kent deployed to Ukraine with UK-Med for a 3rd time. 
On the scale of the conflict, Andy says “This has overwhelmed any previous experience I have had”.
