Iโ€™m elated to re-join the team at Thrive. Itโ€™s been a decade since I first started working with Josh, but Thriveโ€™s story is still just beginning. Itโ€™s an extraordinary team that works tirelessly to serve founders and Iโ€™m stoked to be back.

Iโ€™m eternally grateful to have worked

'Thrilled beyond words! ๐ŸŒŸ Two powerhouses unite: Sarah Joyce Franklin takes the helm as CEO of Lattice! A perfect match with Jack Altman's entrepreneurial genius. ๐Ÿš€ Honored to have been an early believer and investor in Lattice. Sarah + Jack = Dream Team! '

A dream like Monzo requires a special team at peak performance. Jonas embodied that and leaves us with wise parting words for every team...

It's super easy to get started prototyping an LLM application b/c you don't need any data - which is great!

๐ŸงฑBut as you go along, you find yourself wanting to build up datasets (to test, eval, finetune)

How do you do that? Introducing โœจData Annotation Queuesโœจ to help w/ that

Glide SQL support is now in beta! Itโ€™s been thrilling to watch our larger customers break out of spreadsheets and connect directly to their core databases. And all without writing a single SQL query (unless you want to).

Lots of road ahead but a well earned $100M+ of revenue already.

Fun to reflect with Jack Altman on a number of lessons that might be more broadly applicable:

-Specific customer, broad product vs. specific product, broad customers

- Early leap to the next product keeping an org

Building new product that can change the genes of a business while scaling the existing is a heraclean effort. Jack Altman set a culture of comfort with that discomfort early and has kept true to it.

The Lattice suite expands with the core system of record today: Lattice HRIS!

๐Ÿ“ˆWe launched monitoring in LangSmith today

I've mainly been using for two use cases:

๐Ÿ•‘ Track usage - are people actually using my app?

๐Ÿ‘/๐Ÿ‘Ž Track feedback - are changes I introduced leading to a better user experience?

Can you spot when we upgraded our app to use an agent?

we've been running LangChain in prod now for a couple months

before we launched, we took inspo from a few other in-production langchain apps that Paul Thomson has helpfully compiled into a blog post

Really excited for this integration - not only do they support the top OSS models behind a stable & reliable API, but they're also making it easy to finetune (and then host) your own
