So, Saturday marked the end of my small attempt to poetry the war in Ukraine; to insist on the reign of poetry in our lives and in life.

I am still recovering from being 'on' for 24 hours but am buoyed up and grateful to EVERY SINGLE ONE OF YOU who was a part of REVRRB/ORAshuns.

It was meaningful and painful--I could go on. It was an unusual blurring of the lines between the academy and art in at times difficult, provocative and unusual ways, perhaps because Spirit, which more times than not is missing in the Academy, was ever present.

REVRRB/ORAshuns THANK YOU'S to the many, many artists, scholars, thinkers, musicians, poets--a multitude of categories, not to mention those who were observing, for participating in the 24 hour live stream. It was heady, exciting, tiring, glorious, tedious, and provocative.
