🔥 A pay offer for 2024 would set a minimum maternity entitlement of 26 weeks on full pay for all firefighters and fire control staff.

This is the direct result of pressure by FBU members, who will now vote on the offer.

Whatever happens, our campaign for 52 weeks will continue

Absolutely, 26 weeks full pay would make a massive difference. Something our sector doesn't seem to have got right despite being dominated by women. There is definitely room for improvement, and it's great to see other organisations creating equitable opportunities for women.
