During 22-28 April, 2024, Airport Commissionerate, Mumbai Customs Zone-III seized over 20.95 Kg Gold valued at Rs. 13.57 Cr & Electronics, Tobacco and Cigarettes valued at Rs 0.23 Cr total amounting to Rs 13.80 Cr across 27 cases. Nine Pax were arrested.

During 19-21 April, 2024, Airport Commissionerate, Mumbai Customs Zone-III seized over 6.815 Kg Gold valued at Rs. 4.44 Cr & Diamonds valued at Rs. 2.02 Cr total amounting to Rs. 6.46 Cr across 13 cases. Diamonds were found concealed in noodle packets. Four pax were arrested.

During 15-18 April, 2024, Airport Commissionerate, Mumbai Customs Zone-III seized over 9.482 Kg Gold valued @ Rs. 5.71 Cr across 14 cases. Gold was found concealed in rectum, on body, in hand bag and cavities in undergarments of pax. Eight Pax were arrested.

The officers of APSC Commissionerate, Mumbai Customs Zone III intercepted and seized 2.314 Kgs of colored pills appearing to be MDMA valued at ₹ 4.62 Crores, concealed in 02 cloth organizers. A controlled delivery operation led to arrest of an Indian and a Foreign National.

During 11-14 April, 2024, Airport Commissionerate, Mumbai Customs Zone-III seized over 10.02 Kg Gold valued @ Rs. 6.03 Cr across 12 cases. Gold was found concealed inside body by ingesting, in rectum, on body, in hand bag, cavities in undergarments of pax. Three Pax are arrested.

During 8-10 April, 2024, Airport Commissionerate, Mumbai Customs Zone-III seized over 7.94 Kg Gold valued at Rs. 4.69 Cr across 09 cases. Gold was found concealed on pax body, trolley bag & in the rectum. In one case pax handed over gold to airport staff. Four pax are arrested.

During 6-7 April, 2024, Airport Commissionerate, Mumbai Customs Zone-III seized over 8.10 Kg Gold valued at Rs. 4.81 Cr across 12 cases. Gold was found concealed in clothes worn by pax, on body of pax, and in the rectum. Six pax were arrested.

During 3-5 April, 2024, Airport Commissionerate, Mumbai Customs Zone-III seized over 4.37 Kg gold valued at Rs 2.46 Cr, 172.96 Kg assorted silver jewelry valued at Rs 2.59 Cr & electronics & cosmetic goods valued at Rs 22.90 lacs across 10 cases. Three pax are arrested.

On 31 Mar-03 April, 24, Airport Commissionerate, Mumbai Customs Zone-III seized over 2.52 Kg Gold valued at 1.46 Cr across 5 cases. Gold was found concealed in clothes worn, on the body of the pax, underside of baggage trolley.

To resolve the issue of non-receipt of IGST refund, Export Commissionerate, Mumbai Customs Zone III has launched IGST Refund Mela from 1st to 15th April 2024. Details mentioned in Public Notice No. 17/2014 may be referred for issues relating to the IGST refund.

During 24-27, Mar, 24, Airport Commissionerate, Mumbai Customs Zone-III seized over 6.11 Kg Gold valued at 3.52 Cr, about 20000 US Dollars and mobile phones. Gold was concealed in the clothes worn, hand bag, on the body of pax, check-in bag, body cavity.
