We are currently on the ground assisting families to move to safety in Kitengela, Kajiado County, following heavy rainfall.

Our teams are actively involved in helping households along Deliverance Road, Balozi Road, Baraka Road, Blessed Court, New Valley, Changombe, and KAG

I led a food distribution exercise in Kajiado North Constituency in aid of those affected by the floods.

The floods elicit a mix of emotions as I visit Kenyans affected: on the one hand, I am happy because of the lives that have been preserved, and on the other, I am sad because

We continue offering moral and material support to Kenyans hit hard by mudslides and floods caused by enhanced rains.

It is also an opportunity to assess the situation to inform mitigation decisions and actions.

We share in the pain of families, friends and relatives who have lost loved ones in Maai Mahiu, Nakuru County, after the Old Kijabe Dam burst its banks, causing massive flooding.

I visited the strip that was hit hard by the raging waters at Maai Mahiu;

Continuous engagement is the modus operandi of the Executive, led by our President, Dr. William Samoei Ruto, PhD.

We do this within the framework of the Constitution for shared implementation and achievement of National goals.

It was an honor to join H.E. Rigathi Gachagua, EGH the Deputy President of Kenya, and lend UNHCR’s support and solidarity to those most affected by the flooding in Nairobi.

Constitutional Commissions and Independent Offices are key structures of safeguarding our National values and Principles of governance as enshrined in the Constitution.

We have activated systems to mitigate the negative impacts on our people, especially those who have been displaced by floods resulting from the enchanced rains.

We will do everything possible to ensure those affected receive the support they need at this difficult time.

As an elder in my community, I am called upon from time to time to perform tasks and duties as per our traditions.
This afternoon was such a day when I joined fellow elders in dowry negotiations as we engaged elders from the Mulembe Nation, who accompanied their son Paul Wetosi.

Women are the backbone of the Nation, setting it on a firm foundation and holding it together for its social-economic growth.

Their contribution to the development of our country is not only immeasurable but invaluable.
