Vivek Mysore Those movies were successful because of the makers and good writing. Actors are overrated except for a few stellar roles that require method acting. New stars being born is a by product of success and not the other way round.

Vivek Mysore All are very valid points on what ails KFI now. But is there anyone in so called film industry to even listen to these. It's filled with real estate agents as producers.
Unless we get more studio model of production where writers/directors are encouraged, different to change.

Vivek Mysore KFI should also try making film based on real stories and fresh stories in small to medium budget. Look at the Manjummel Boys for eg.

Ironically Our Big budget heros are not thinking about the industry, If you make 1 movie in 2 year no industry will survive.

Absolutely. Remember the days when I would just take my Kinetic and go to Navarang, Veerabadra (Kamala Nagara) or Nandini theatre to watch films with friends. It was as if we had all the time in the world. Today, many tell me how cumbersome even getting to a theatre is!
