Richard Black was left stranded in Trinidad for 41 years after his UK citizenship was revoked - despite living in the UK since he was six.

We went with him as he visited his mother's grave in London for the first time. He was refused travel documents to attend her funeral.

Yesterday our writer in residence Nadine Aisha Jassat led a session for teachers on creative poetry writing!

She also led discussion on our current work to ensure diversity and representation in our literature and resources.

All teachers ended the session with their own poem.
