It's quite unfortunate that on a platform where she was invited to weigh in on the 2/3rd gender rule and the representation of women she chose to use all her airtime to bring another woman down. This one keeps showing us new levels of low 🚮

There is no war in Gaza. An army is bombing, massacring and expelling a refugee civilian population it has besieged and occupied for decades. It is an ongoing genocide with the aim of finally erasing the Palestinians.

A country that remembers Uhuru Kenyatta with any sense of nolstalgia is one that is in dire need of collective and corrective therapy.

Was rejected by a publication today because they read my socials and saw my support of Palestine. I could very well never be published again but I won’t compromise my convictions. Solidarity with all oppressed peoples, always.

I don't hold brief for Azimio so if you have any advise for them it would be prudent to direct it to them. I speak for myself and other Kenyans that have been raising their voices against high cost of living and an oppressive, dismissive regime.

Come find me, maybe I can smack some sense into that 'rebel without a cause' head of yours. Don't come here to blanket condemn the place of reforms even as we organize the masses for the revolution. That is how you demobilize!!!

You do know there is a reason the constitution is referred to as a living document right? Unless in SA you do your constitutions on rocks, cave walls and stone tablets😅

When going to court, dress well, smell well, speak well, smile well, and pretend to know even if not. These small things impress judges. Cases sometimes are won on the organisation of a lawyer, not his or her wit. Impression is key in this field.

This from a law student is quite shallow. Constitutions are not the end game, they are sites of struggle ,the reason they are so defensive is coz they understand & appreciate the journey to decolonization. It's not a magic wand.

“Philanthropy is a function of colonial capitalism, it has been shaped by it, is being driven by it, and yet philosophically it tries to position itself as somehow a cure for the ills of colonial capitalism, and that contradiction needs to stop.”

Njoki Gachanja: It's very pretentious and hypocritical for the President to talk about protest killings and not talk about the killer.

Raila met hundreds of people in Nairobi CBD the other day; was there violence, destruction of business or property?

I once asked Pheroze Nowrojee why they kept challenging President Moi's authoritarian actions in Court in the 1990s when it was clear they would loose every time. He said:

'For the record! Nothing is more powerful in history than the record.'

We must audit our debts and pay those that benefitted us.

Those that have not benefited Kenyans should be paid by those who benefited from it.

If the unpaid debt is taking 70 per cent of our state budget, it then calls for a state of war.
