The snow today reminded me of one time when it snowed, and I was warned about “ice burns” when driving. Took the longest time to realize that the Japanese word for an iced-over road is the German loanword“eisbahn”.
To make it even more confusing, “black ice” is “black eisbahn”!

What would be nice is if GoPro made a camera that didn’t constantly overheat when used in a motorsports situation. There’s a reason why 99% of their social media posts are skiiing, wingsuits and mountain bikes. The software is amazing, but the 35°C ambient operating temp isn’t.

Teaching the multiverse to drift! You’ll never believe this crossover with ludwig, Chris from Chris Broad and Schlatt. They headed out to Daigo Saito’s yard to learn to drift and compete to see who could pick it up the fastest. Keen to see how it turns out!
