The Paddyfield Pipit has a white belly, creamy upperparts, and grey-brown streaks on its wings. It is long-legged with a long tail and dark bill. Present all-year round, spot it in open spaces like fields and lawns.

We may not have autumn here in Singapore, but the colours of the native Shaggy-leafed Fig sure comes close! 🍂 As the fig plant matures, its young foliage which is red in colour turns greenish orange.

Yes, it’s the Gold-ringed Cat Snake! Identified by its shiny black body and bright yellow bands, the scales along its throat and lips are also bright yellow with black edges! Remember to watch this beauty from a safe distance.

Often spotted in flight, this uncommon migrant sometimes perches motionless for long periods before feeding.

Like a Leopard, the Leopard Butterfly sports ornamental dark spots and streaks on its rich orange-coloured wings. 🐆 You’ll often see this sun-loving butterfly fluttering from flower to flower in our parks, gardens and streetscapes.
