We were at NATIONAL POLICE MEMORIAL DAY in Cardiff yesterday. My first time attending and a poignant service.
Always love the South Wales Police ceremonial units, so much history there.

Today we held our own local NATIONAL POLICE MEMORIAL DAY where we remembered all officers & staff who have served with Hampshire Police & died recently. We lit our NPMD candle. My thanks to Hampshire Police Fed for their support & to Donna Jones & Deputy Chief Constable Sam de Reya for attending & Hampshire Police Band for the bugler.

Today marks National Police Memorial Day.

We always stand with our colleagues across the country to mark this poignant day but this year our thoughts are more than ever with our policing family here at Nottinghamshire Police and the families and friends who have lost loved ones.

Truly wonderful bunch of people that sadly come together to remember their loved one and share their grieving.

Today, our Chief Officer and SC Staff Officer are attending NATIONAL POLICE MEMORIAL DAY representing Dorset Police. This year is especially notable as the 20th year of the National Police Memorial Day. Officers, Staff and families gather to remember those that have given the ultimate sacrifice.

It was an honour to attend the National Police Memorial Day service in Cardiff today, remembering those officers who have lost their lives in the line of duty and recognising the sacrifice they've made, running towards danger and keeping the public safe.
