Interesting study of gamification and financial incentives to increase step counts in patients. Very well done study, but it seems to require a lot of ressources for a modest increase in step counts (500)

A strong argument for sham procedures particularly when evaluating subjective outcomes. The KCCQ score improved similarly in the treatment arm and in the sham arm of the RELIEVE-HF trial. Can we still consider that the TRILUMINATE trial is positive? John Mandrola, MD

The fact that the KCCQ score improved in the preserved EF group in the RELIEVE-HF trial, despite having a higher death rate makes us question the validity of this endpoint. It makes me also question the validity of the Triluminate trial John Mandrola, MD

It was complex to get to Atlanta for because my direct flight was canceled because of a snowstorm in Montreal… After one train, one night in an airport hotel and 2 delayed flights, I am happy to be joining colleagues to network and learn!
