The 'Polymetallic Nodules' create an ear-splitting noise, but it's quieter than the deafening sound of deep sea mining, a practice which threatens marine ecosystems, disrupts vital habitats, and endangers deep-diving animals reliant on sound for survival.

🚨BREAKING: Ocean Rebellion have staged a heavy metal concert by the ‘Polymetallic Nodules’ outside the Deep Sea Mining Summit at Hilton Hotels in Canary Wharf.
