Onaiza Drabu Reminded me of Shanga Bibi alias 'Yawan (from Sanskrit word 'Yuwan' meaning Youth) Maech'; a courtesan who lived during the times of Nund Reshi. It's a legend that she was send by some Brahmins to seduce Nund Reshi who admonished her and guided her to the Reshi order.

As good a time as any to revise our own Kashmiri mythical creatures - starting with the recently notorious Rantas. Kashmiri folklore lives in more than its stories, there is a world that exists as a separate realm– full of monsters and guardians. <a thread>

A national treasure will be buried today. His contributions to sharpening Kashmiri identity are immense; poetry, literary criticism, developing an indigenous idiom, distinguishing Kashmiri prosody from Urdu and Persian, founder of department of Kashmiri, endless. RIP Rahi sb!

Cold and frosty mornings beckon some warm spicy notes.

Shamamatul Ambar - a winter scent is quite possibly our favour itr in our collection.

It is made with complex spices and nutmeg as a top note, musk, mace, and patchouli as mid notes and base notes of amber and leather.
