Viral RNA was found in liver, kidney, stomach, intestine, brain, blood vessel, lung, breast, skin, and thyroid. vRNA was associated long COVID Sx (OR 5·17, p<0·0001). Patients with higher virus load had a higher likelihood of developing long COVID.

We’re pleased to share our latest analysis of the ISARIC4C CCP-UK dataset of patients hospitalised with COVID in the UK, looking at patients having treatment for cancer over the first two years of the pandemic.

The data highlight the robust working of our immune system, with concentration on conserved parts of the pathohen. SARS-CoV-2 has many epitiopes and will not overcome vaccine or infection induced immunity.
