Today’s Geol Society Glasgow trip spent the morning on a tour of the NMS Collections Centre with the awesome Natural Sciences NMS team & saw loads of excellent rocks & fossils (incl. this belter of an agate from Brazil!). Then we spent the afternoon on the beach looking at more rocks (obv) 🖤

A Glaswegian fossil shrimp new to science has been named Tealliocaris weegie, in honour of the people of Glasgow! 🏴
