#OnThisDay 1984. Bob Clay, the Labour MP for Sunderland North, was one of 16 people arrested on the picket line.

Clay had seen a man being beaten up by the police and after approaching the police he was arrested for obstruction.

Rachel Riley & Tracy-Ann Oberman wanted to sue me.

It was dropped.

It was for the same thing they tried to sue CrémantCommunarde #BeAPeacemonger ☮️ for.

The case went further with Jane.

They ultimately dropped it & contributed to Jane’s costs.

Thank God Jane had the courage to see it through & fight.
