Willie Stephenson-trained Oxo (Michael Scudamore) won by 1.5 lengths from Wyndburgh (Tim Brookshaw), the 1958 winner Mr What (Tosse Taaffe) & in 4th place Tiberetta (Alan Oughton). 34 ran & only 4 finished. Oxo never won again. #RacingMemories

For all his endeavours, Corach Rambler is becoming a 'People's Horse' as the reception he got yesterday showed.

My absolute favourite horse in training. What a superstar. If he ran 7-8Ib better than 159, this makes him extremely well in for the National at 11-2. The rest of the field better be very worried 💛💜💪🏻
