Throwback to 2023, when we visited Mbuya Parents School to discuss #menstrualhealth with the learners. During our visit, we taught about menstrual hygiene practices, the importance of proper menstrual hygiene management, and debunked myths surrounding menstruation.

Yesterday, as the #MediaAlumniUgConvention drew to an end, we discussed the significance of the theme 'Beyond Journalism.'
With some of the alumni currently transitioning into different fields, we considered our responsibility to the world as journalists.

Grateful for the opportunity to share my thoughts on building a strong alumni network at the first-ever Media Challenge Initiative convention! MCI has been a game-changer for me, and I'm excited to see the impact it will continue to make in the media industry.

Our mission is to foster healthier communities by establishing #HealthDefenders clubs, mostly in schools. These clubs empower students to openly discuss, collaborate, and find solutions to health challenges, thus enhancing their overall well-being.
