Another wonderful event at St Christopher's CARE! 🌞This time about palliative care and learning disability. Andrea Bruun gave a talk about our project - and our toolkit already had an impact! Thank you Sue Marsden 💙, phoebe mooney, and Emma for the invite and a great day #learningdis #EoLC

Thousands of women with incurable HER2-low secondary breast cancer have been denied access to Enhertu.
Thank you to everyone who helped us reach 100,000 signatures in less than 1 week in our #EnhertuEmergency petition.
You can still add your name: action.breastcancernow.org/enhertu-emerge…
Fab evening at the CharityComms #inspiringcomms awards night. Feeling very grateful to have been shortlisted for our easy read St Christopher's booklet for people with a learning disability!
Was also lovely to meet colleagues from Demelza Charity comms team!
We're nominated for a CharityComms award tonight for phoebe mooney and our Comms team's work in creating this Easy Read version of our patient and carer booklet stchristophers.org.uk/booklet-welcom…
Good luck to all the nominees 😀

Today is #EpilepsyDay
Out of every 100 people with a learning disability, around 22 also have epilepsy
At the end of life a person will need to have their usual anticonvulsant meds changed when the oral route is lost (e.g unable to swallow)
Something to be aware of 💭
All of us in the office were profoundly moved by Stuart’s story, who lived every moment of his life until he died - and had planned for this. Thank you to his team for sharing it and PCPLD Network for hosting today’s webinar. Missed it? Catch up here bit.ly/4bl5eiC
