We are recruiting two quantitative researchers to work on a data linkage study into the effects of police diversion related to drugs: jobs.kent.ac.uk/LSSJ-233-23 and jobs.kent.ac.uk/LSSJ-234-23. Working with me, Alex Stevens, @pkquinton, Jack Cunliffe, Office for Health Improvement and Disparities and many others.

@pkquinton That’s good news, I read it over breakfast. Just reread the criteria, for me it’s the wording but can see how it is open externally, could be perhaps worded more clearly?

Gavin Hales Matt Ashby @pkquinton Dr Lisa Tompson @lisatompson.bsky.social This is precisely the question I don't feel it gets to. Eg, if you conducted very similar initiatives, but with PCSOs - chatting to people but without legal powers - would you see the same effect? Not massively clear to me.

@pkquinton Gavin Hales Please involve Black people in what you are trying to achieve otherwise it has zero credibility.
