✨ We're wrapping up #CitSciMonth with immense gratitude. 💛
#iSeahorse has been a community journey in advancing seahorse knowledge. Now, over 10 years, 13000 observations and 2300 contributors later, we've made a real difference in #seahorse conservation.
Thank you. 💛
Another weekend... another chance to get in the water! 🌊🤿
If you spot any seahorses, remember to log your sightings on iSeahorse! 🔍 Your observations this month can also contribute to #onemillionactsofscience ! See how at scistarter.org/inaturalist

Great to welcome Amanda Vincent from UBC Oceans / @ProjectSeahorse to give this year’s Corpus Christi Oliver Rackham Society Annual Lecture
In her talk, she will discuss how her initial interest in the unique male pregnancy of seahorses led her on a path to founding Project Seahorse Project Seahorse and her work on marine conservation. Fascinating stuff. /3 of 3 corpus.cam.ac.uk/articles/biolo…
Amanda completed her PhD Dept of Zoology researching seahorses in the basement and then being the first to study them underwater, making novel discoveries about seahorse reproduction, courting, pair-bonding, and other sex-related behaviours. /2 of 3

What a gorgeous #iSeahorse observation! 😍
#Seahorses use their 🐒-like tails to hold onto objects in their environment for support, like sponges, seagrasses, seaweeds (like seen here), or even corals! ⚓

We are excited to announce a draft of the agenda for the first #WorldSpeciesCongress has been released. We are still finalising additional talks and speakers, which we will add as soon as we have them. Timing on the agenda is still subject to shift.
