This Drouhin #cotesdenuits was amazing value...,the #hugelwine from #Aksace was fun but the alpine strawberry #pinotnero from #italy #altoadige was delightful...though , it did oxidize fast in the glass

Now that’s what I call a proper vine. It was planted as a table grape in 1973, grafted onto Syrah in 1990- well, that’s what they THOUGHT- in fact it was Petite Sirah- which they could have just consigned to the bin, but instead Santa Rita make it into inspiring Bougainville red.
