This year's commencement ceremony held a special moment as Rice University registrar David Tenney '87 had the opportunity to present his son Jonathan Tenney '24 with a diploma.

Parthasarathy Ranganathan, a computer scientist and Rice graduate, has recently won an Emmy from the Television Academy. The doctoral alum will be honored for 'design and deployment of efficient hardware video accelerators for cloud,' at the annual ceremony. bit.ly/3V6cRDD

Recent graduate Andrew Linhart shares how Rice was always the place for him. He also recently completed a scale model of Rice in Lego nanoblocks, now on view in the Welcome Center in Sewall Hall. As Linhart says, “You’re only limited by your own imagination!”

Earlier this month, Rice Alumni in Medicine hosted their first in-person Awards & Pinning Ceremony since 2018! This ceremony celebrated the remarkable class of 2024, and each student received a caduceus pin.
