Our 8th grade Mrs. Ritch Coach Ramirez & Mrs. Chavez, joined forces today to work on our STAAR camp. 🧡💙 Our wonderful Coach Q was assisting our students on the math as well. She brought energy and a different perspective on things that benefit our students.

When we tell a kid in our dual language classrooms “así no se dice, la palabra correcta es….” we become language oppressors. Instead, we must validate their words (and their cultures) and explain when we would use other forms.
