Over the last few weeks, 1,052 primary schools have taken part in our Year 6 writing moderation task. In total, 11,368 teachers from these schools judged the writing of 47,307 year 6 pupils. The overall reliability of the judging was 0.89, which shows a high level of consistency.

Great post explaining why reading progression docs do not work.

I would go even further - progression docs don't work in other subjects either.

I first wrote about this in 2013 when I thought the removal of levels would get rid of this approach! (🧵)
