Fabulous to see the 1st perf of Pamela Harrison’s Five Poems of Ernest Dowson since it was sung by Peter Pears at the Royal Festival Hall in the 50s.Thanks to Benjamin Hulett and Martyn Brabbins & the BBC Philharmonic for being such enthusiastic partners in the Harrison revival.

Fantastic day of recording yesterday, completing our Ensemble 360 /Claire Booth #Pierrot disc, with music by Musgrave, Schumann, Debussy, Mark, Kowalski, Poldowski, Beach and this gem from Korngold (as well as #Pierrot Lunaire of course, already in the can!). September release!

Concert including Pamela Harrison’s song cycle of Dowson settings, as part of an intriguing programme all round. Well worth attending if you’re remotely nearby!
