👇New report from Luke Sibieta on challenges for Welsh education following the latest PISA scores. Analysis draws on 2 #NuffieldFunded grants exploring differences in school institutions & inequalities across the UK's 4 nations, & differences in post-16 institutions & outcomes.

Really pleased that Nuffield Foundation were able to fund this work to look at the experiences of children from minority ethnic backgrounds in Northern Ireland.

The #OECDPISA 2022 results are in: student performance has fallen in maths & reading, with Scotland seeing the largest decline in the UK. We’ve funded research that can help us understand & address some of the issues that may be leading to the #PISA findings. Read about 2 below🧵
