The ARC congratulates our former Executive Director for Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry and Earth Sciences on his new role as Chief Scientist for South Australia.

Prof Simmons was previously also Director of the ARC-funded National Centre for Groundwater Research and Training at Flinders University.

The SA Government welcomes groundwater scientist and respected research leader Professor Craig T. Simmons as the new Chief Scientist for South Australia.

The Chief Scientist provides independent advice on STEM, research and innovation.
