This is exciting! If you use Identity Center for AWS access, you can get permalinks to console pages that embed the account and role. So, for example, in your runbooks you can have direct links to the CloudWatch dashboards you use

You're not forced to only use single IaC tool.
Sometimes, there's a valid argument to use multiple ones.

e.g. 💜 𝗧𝗲𝗿𝗿𝗮𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗺 & 𝗦𝗲𝗿𝘃𝗲𝗿𝗹𝗲𝘀𝘀 𝗙𝗿𝗮𝗺𝗲𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸 ⚡️

And it's easy to have them working together by making use of SSM Parameters.

Not sure if CloudWatch or CloudFormation now supports tagging but finally we can tag Alarms with CloudFormation 🙌🏽

CloudFlare acquired Baselime! Which makes total sense since their observability game was not top notch (as far as I remember 👀)

My next prediction: SST goes full on Cloudflare support and will be acquired as well 😎

a. Centralize DNS config into a single stack
b. Let individual services manage their own DNS config in their stack
