I can't justify this prediction, it's just vibes. But I suspect Trump won't be on the ballot in November. He'll be dead or melt down spectacularly in public. And I suspect Biden won't be, either. I think everyone is underestimating the chaos of this moment.

I've worked (art model) at Columbia and I got my MFA from CCNY. I'm sickened and furious at the brutality towards the students. Columbia deserves to be abandoned by all its students in September.

We teach our students that history is contingent. That the world can be otherwise. And then our employers send in the police to beat that lesson out of them.

So they've turned a dozen blocks - a whole NYC neighborhood - into a fully locked down police zone to repress a small number of nonviolent students.

Shame on Columbia. Shame on the NYPD. Shame on Eric Adams & Governor Hochul. Shame on CCNY.

I'm so afraid for the protesters tonight, especially at CUNY and Columbia. May they all survive and be well.
