The Greater Glider is present throughout the area proposed for the GFNP and the work to recover this animal will be based on retaining all 1939, recruitment of new forests and installing nest boxes and hollow hogs where appropriate. We need to fix the mess forestry has made.

Hey USDA Forest Service and Senator Jeff Merkley, after tuning into the interior approps hearing today, maybe it's time to recognize the vital role dead/dying trees play in forest ecosystems. They deserve protection from overly aggressive 'forest health prescriptions'.

flames kill wildlife, agreed. But smoke asphyxiation could be even worse! Every bird and arboreal mammal within this Mt Albert burn suffered many hours of smoke inhalation.
How many got lucky & survived?

🚨🚨An urgent unfolding climate disaster in WA: the rest of Australia pay attention

After our hottest & driest summer ever recorded, large areas of forests are dying in Western Australia

A Mountain Ash love story. Only 90 minutes from the G (my other great love). A great city like Melbourne needs a Great Forest National Park.

The fact that this isn’t self-evident and accepted is disturbing.
