Join us on 04/09 at 1:00 PM for a show of The Oil Machine, followed by a panel. Oil companies think they can continue to keep drilling while keeping to Net Zero ambitions through adopting new technologies, such as carbon capture. is this realistic? buff.ly/43wDvs0

In energy history, there's a kind of early modern paradigm abt the Malthusian trap, food & ag; then a 20c model centered on global fossil fuels w/little mention of food and ag. But I think this is a mistake and caloric intake trends should be centered much more.
