But an award such as this one symbolizes the recognition they so deserve. 👏

Human rights lawyer @ArnonNampa, who had called for the reform of #Thailand ’s powerful monarchy, was sentenced to four years in prison yesterday for ‘insulting the monarchy’ (also known as lèse-majesté). He is now seeking bail pending appeal.
