Havila Pollux is being taken out of service for the cruise leaving Bergen on May 2 to replace a small electrical engine that powers one of the aft propellers. She will resume sailing from Bergen on May 13. Affected guests are being offered free cancellations or alternative dates.

After MSC World America floated out in France, construction began on the third ship in the series with the first steel cut for MSC World Asia. MSC World America will be named on April 9, 2025, in Miami while her baby sister is due to enter service in 2026.
