You’re saying that women’s disease doesn’t “count” when you say Ob/Gyn surgery isn’t “real” surgery. So our incisions are imaginary, then? Our suffering is not as great? The organ that perpetuates the future of the human race is not as elite an organ as the brain or the heart?

When you say Ob/Gyns aren’t surgeons, you’re telling every woman who has had a C-section, hysterectomy, vaginal reconstruction, fibroid removal, endometriosis excision, ovarian cancer debulking that her surgery (and thus her diseases) are not real/important/painful/valid.

The MedCouncilCan is an unacceptable + unnecessary waste of the time + finances of junior doctors in Canada -- docs who are currently on the frontlines of a PANDEMIC. (who already graduated med school + will sit rigorous specialty-specific exams before independent practice)
