Very happy that my first PhD paper is now out in #ESPL ! We use luminescence dating, lithostratigraphy, and petrography to reconstruct the fluvial response of the Huab River, Namibia, to Holocene climates.

The same applies to social scientists who have never set foot on Africa, Zimbabwe in particular. We need to publish based on our lived experiences & research done by those of us on the ground.

The disconnect between African countries who had different colonizers is illustrated best by the lack of flights between us. Mozambique and Tanzania are Neighbouring countries but there are no direct flights between them.
