We spend 50% more hours in school than Finland. They have NO standardized tests until PISA in HS and they outperform us every time. They have multiple recesses daily, & options like crafts, home Ec, PE, Arts. etc. And teachers have more control over teaching than politicians!

If you don't think morale is important, remember that a student's learning environment is created by the teacher. A teacher who is supported, valued, & appreciated will create a more positive & dynamic learning environment than a teacher who is not.

Throw up a hand if you remember when the newspaper sports section was one of the greatest pleasures of your day.

.Diffit is one of the best uses of AI that I've seen yet. You type in what topic your students are studying, and it creates:
- a reading comp
- a list of vocab words
- questions
- and it even creates Google Slides that the students can use to demonstrate their learning!
