Ghana has announced its 1st outbreak of the Marburg virus disease following the lab testing by IPD, Senegal. Both cases were from the southern Ashanti region of Ghana. WAHO | OOAS supports the people of Ghana & the ECOWAS region in preparedness & prompt response against the virus.
