LGBTQ+ events are more than 'just social' - they allow LGBTQ+ folks to find belonging,community,& empowerment. This behavior by hate groups is so devastating and targeted. Hoping the American Association for State and Local History and wider museum community can mobilize to work against hate in our own communities.
