I've been wracking my brains the past few days to think of an NGO/think tank that has done as much to move the needle on a political issue the way SP Institute (and in particular Dr. Mike P. Moffatt 🇨🇦🏅🏅) has on housing over the past 12-18 months, and I'm coming up blank. A huge achievement.

Worth noting there will be another CPI release (May 21) before the next Bank of Canada policy rate decision (June 5).

For the second month in a row, annualised CPI inflation rates at horizons of 12 months and less are all in the Bank of Canada's target range.

Annualised inflation over the last 3 months was just barely over the 1% lower threshold.
