Really need my back to get better so I can actually finish the drawings for my calendar. First six are done, but the second six still need finishing and scanning. It’s so frustrating. #art #drawing #wildlife #birds

Had to ask my Dad if he can take me to the doctors tomorrow for my b12 injection. I hate asking for help, especially from my parents as it seems the wrong way round at my age. Back is still too bad to drive though and my daughter (who’s taxied me around for days) is back at Uni.

Trying to sell my son’s prom suit on local marketplace on FB and someone has asked if their son can come and try it on. Am I meant to let them? Surely not. I give up trying to make a bit of money. It never works out for me. Other people seem to manage to sell lots. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Mum reminded me today of how bad her back was in her 40s, but that it’s nowhere near as bad now that it’s all fused. Mobility is obviously less, but the pain etc isn’t the same. The joys of degenerative discs and hereditary health issues.

Slipped disc in back again has crippled me for days. The pain is horrendous. So sick of it all. I wanted to work more on my kingfisher, but days now without being able to. The muscle spasms in my back are awful. All I did was lean over a table to wrap presents for my daughter.😥

Can’t find my tiny usb stick with a lot of my files on. Grrrrr. Checked everywhere I can think of. I def need to up my game when it comes to backing up stuff. Stupid me. That’s gonna cause me a lot of hassle if I need those files at any point. 🤦🏼‍♀️

Daughter has another exam this morning so I can’t make any noise or move about, so I’m trying to do a bit more drawing as there’s not much else I can do presently. Moving my neck sounds like popping candy going mad, so I won’t manage much. #art #drawing #birds #bluetit

Did too much yesterday & today I feel I’ve been hit by a bus. No real surprise, but I guess I always live in hope it won’t happen. Hard not to do more when you have a better day & aren’t in as much pain but there’s always consequences of trying to be normal. #fibromyalgia

Had a dream last night that my work that was meant to be on display was nowhere to be found and I’d lost it all. I’m already panicking about my display space next week. I doubt I’ll sell anything as my town is not an art hub - just hope none of it or the frames get damaged.🤞

Did the online triage form today at the doctors as I have several new health problems that are getting worse. Seven weeks to get an appointment. I guess they are hoping that by then I’ll be cured. That would be nice.
