In times of darkness can be hard to remember what lighter days feel like but they will be there.

The longer days from spring into summer are an opportunity to spend time outside. While you may still have moments of darkness, take advantage of this time to create lighter moments.

Your journey will look different to others, so be kind and patient with yourself. It may take longer than you expect, but there is no greater investment than in yourself. Look back on your journey of self-growth and recognise how far you've already come.

Suicide&Co is a charity focused on counselling & professional support for those bereaved by suicide. Global Make Some Noise will fund the counselling project for a year, providing online bereavement support.

Tom Swarbrick speaks to their co-founder Amelia for Global's Make Some Noise.

Global's Make Some Noise Day last October raised over £2.6 million for 40 chosen charities.

Questions like 'how are you?' don't seem appropriate and can feel minimising when someone is grieving and you know that they are struggling.

When you are feeling overwhelemed and stressed, leaning on your support network and finding company is important.

Think about who you can rely on to support you during stressful times, and remember that this doesn't always have to be your immediate friends and family.

Great to present an overview of research findings on impacts of suicide bereavement Suicide&Co Sector Summit Research. A key message was that suicide bereavement affects 22% of the population & is associated with #suicide / #suicide attempt, only partly explained by depression.
