A FAILED asylum seeker has been deported to #Rwanda voluntarily with a £3k payoff + 5yrs free rent at a cost of £2mn to the British taxpayer.

HANG ON —wouldn't that person normally be deported WITHOUT a payoff by the UK taxpayer at a lower cost?

Why is this being spun as a win?

They’ve lost 3,500 asylum seekers.

But they did manage to find one - who was willing to go to Rwanda - and they agreed to pay him £3000 to be flown there, so they could fleetingly pretend their hideous little plan was underway.

Jeezus. The shabby desperation.

Paying someone to go to Rwanda highlights just how much of a gimmick and farce their plan is.
